Sensing

•Ensure appropriate & stable sensing is occurring 

•Ensure appropriate sensitivity is programmed

Underlying rhythm

•Assessment of degree of dependency (not dependent, dependent, atrial paced dependent, etc)

•Can determine if there is underlying sinus activity or AV conduction which may assist in threshold testing

Morphology template assessment

•Ensure baseline morphology template is stable, consistent and accurate (Abbott & Medtronic ICDs only)

•Update morphology/template if necessary
