- The ultimate guide to Cardiac Rhythm Management & Cardiac Physiology -

Intro

I'm an electrophysiology (EP) nerd/enthusiast here to offer free and quality content about Cardiac Physiology that I've sourced and created. I am committed to creating a meaningful impact within my community. I have a strong passion for EP, including rhythm analysis,
cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs), and delivering exceptional patient care.

My role as a Cardiac Physiologist is not simply a profession; it is a rewarding career that I am truly committed to. I find great fulfilment in the work I do and am dedicated to making a meaningful impact within my community.

The CIED-Lab is my 1st project (began Jan 2024) which involves an extensive learning guide into CIEDs, including a modules, practice exams, case studies and study/exam tips.

ECG-Lab, Cath-Lab & EP-Lab have just launched (April, May, June 2025). ECG-lab covers ECG basics, intervals, set ups, common arrhythmias and syndromes, types of block and more. Cath-Lab covers Cath lab basics, procedures and equipment used. EP-Lab covers EP procedures, ablation techniques and more.

Background

Qualifications include IBHRE-CCDS, PostGradDipEP (CEPIA), and BSc.

Proudly working in Melbourne, Australia, at Austin Hospital, Monash/Victorian Heart Hospital and with the Qardia agency group across Melbourne's private hospitals.

My role models

As a junior physiologist, I was fortunate enough to have been surrounded by hardworking, successful women in the CRM field.

Jannie Chin was the only physiologist at my first workplace who was proficient in EP. She is hardworking, efficient, the queen of troubleshooting, and extremely dedicated to her role.

When I first met Paula Rae, she was a CIED rep, who later dabbled in EP, became the EP educator/coordinator during my training, and is now a member of tech services for a CIED company. She also worked as a nurse for several years; essentially a jack of all trades. She is super intelligent, hardworking, encouraging, and generally brilliant.

These two women inspired me to be the best that I could be and continue to be my role models.
