Increasing AV delays

•This often results in a trade off for other pacing parameters and/or capabilities

•E.g., upper rate behavior such as pseudo wenckebach or 2:1 block will occur at lower rates

•More likely to have PMT (pacemaker mediated tachycardias)

•More likely to have RNRVAS (repetitive non re-entrant ventriculo-atrial synchrony
