What is a PMT?

A Pacemaker Mediated Tachycardia (PMT) may occur when retrograde P-waves (due to a loss of AV synchrony) are sensed and tracked in an atrial tracking mode.

The heart rate of the patient will be at or near the UTR (never exceeding) depending on how long the VA conduction is.
