Surgical LV lead

If someone is having open heart surgery (CAGs, valves, etc) and is indicated for CRT or CRT may be required in the future, the surgeon may implant an epicardial LV lead

Surgical LV leads may also be used for patients with difficult CS cannulation or significant capture or phrenic issues

This can be connected to a CRT device at a later point
