LV fusion algorithms

Based on patients intrinsic rhythm, LV only pacing occurs at an “optimal” AV delay determined by the device to “fuse” with the intrinsic rhythm

Operation

•Every 1 minute an intrinsic AV delay is assessed (AV delay to 300ms)

•The AV delay is then recalibrated to ~70% of the intrinsic AV delay or at least 40ms prior to the intrinsic RV sense

Conditions

•Depending on model intrinsic AV delay
must be SAV<200/220 and PAV <250/270

•Suspended during tachyarrhythmias
